What are ScholarStudio curricula
Our digital curricula are short courses focused on specific skills that can be incorporated
How do these work with our offerings?
Workshops can be incorporated as part of existing curricula or offered as stand-alone resources. They can be used synchronously or asynchronously.
How do our students access the workshops and where are they stored?
Students access workshops through a program-specific code that will be emailed to them. The workshops are stored on the Thinkific platform.
Are the workshops accessible?
All workshops come with a complete written transcript and with captioned videos.
Are these intended to replace instructional FTE?
No. These workshops are intended to supplement your program's offerings by adding instruction on skills that are critical to student success, but that sometimes fall through the cracks.
What workshops are available?
The first workshop, available Fall 2017, is
Writing Remarkable Literature Reviews. We chose to make this our first offering because it is one of the parts of the thesis / dissertation that consistently fails to live up to faculty expectations.
The second workshop, currently in production, is Dissertation Success Essentials, which will cover essential "hard" and "soft" skills necessary for graduate success.
What is the subscription fee?
The yearly subscription fee per workshop per degree program is $1250. This is roughly the cost of 1-2 graduate credits in most U.S. graduate programs.
